CIS’s railway companies agree to cut tariffs, set unified schedule

RIGA, Oct 23 (PRIME) -- The CIS Railway Transport Council has agreed to reduce cargo railcar tariffs and establish a unified traffic schedule, President of Latvian railroad operator Latvijas dzelzcels Edvins Berzins told reporters on October 20.

“The agreement will allow us to use cargo rail cars more effectively and reduce costs,” he said.
